Finally, I arrived in Pamplona this evening and will get the bus tomorrow to SJPdP. I’ll start walking on Thursday and hope to possibly meet with some of you that are starting at the same time. Buen Camino!- trose

Best way to SJPDP from USA
After researching many different options I decided to fly into Madrid from Seattle and after a 2 hour layover, on to Pamplona via Iberia Air. I arrive in Pamplona about 5 pm and will stay the night. The next day I will get the noon bus to SJPP arriving 1:45 which will allow for an easy day. Bus...- trose

Transport from Porto to Tui?
The train is a great way to go but you need to search for Valenca, across the river from Tui. If You want, you can get the 6 am train and start walking by 8 am.- trose

Like so many others, I don’t arrive Pamplona until the late afternoon. I tried so many options but decided to have a leisurely dinner/evening there and catch the noon bus the next day.
