Is this feasible: picnic lunches on Camino del Norte?
Kevin, you're on the right track. I'd say a picnic lunch is almost essential on the Norte, where you often find yourself in the middle of nowhere at lunch time. Will restaurants offer pilgrim menu
we walked the Norte in 2018, and at that time both Peregrino and del dia menus were readily available and of good quality. We never encountered a meal that made us turn up our noses and move on!- Daddyfrog

Water sources along Camino del Norte?
I can only agree with the previous comments - never had a problem finding drinking water on the Norte. Having said that, there are sometimes fair distances between potable water sources, particularly on legs where there are long stretches through the mountains, so make sure you have enough...- Daddyfrog
