Starting Camino del Norte in two days. Advice needed
We saw several cyclists while doing our Norte the summer of 17, one of which struggled with staying on the same path as the Pilgrims on foot; especially the sections which feature long stretches on the beach or the hills leading one to the beach. My son and I did the Norte as far as the cut off to Oviedo where we picked up the Primativo last summer and thoroughly enjoyed it. It is certainky no through hike but if you're on the camino for religious, spiritual, or cultural reasons it does not disappoint. Some of the cities you pass through...- Pxlwiz

Food on the Camino del norte
Another amazing place to eat on the Norte is Sidreria Marcelo in Castro Uridales. s a block off the main drag, easily found on Google. Besides great cider - wait till you see them dispense it from a tap that shoots the golden nectar a good meter to an awaiting glass- their Pinxos are Gourmet...- Pxlwiz
