How was the temps? Was it hot in June? how about the humidity? We're doing Norte starting last week of May till the whole month of June. Were there a lot of pilgrims? Thanks.
thanks for this @RumAndChupacabras .. so Rome2rio has a Potes to Covadonga but at, at least $42 a pop is still steep and would be quite sometime before we get a senior discount :)... so even if there's only wife and I, Taxi is the best option..
Looks like there is Palomera bus to San vicente de la Barquera. San Vicente to Belmonte is better with train (renfe) then taxi from Belmonte to Covadonga. This will probably our last option.. unless ALSA's schedule changes over time. Looks like the best option is taxi split into 4 or 5 might not...

I've been re-watching footprints many times because I really like the routes they took. However, my initial research says there is no official camino route that goes through Pecos de Europa national park so it probably is a hiking route that their producers researched in advance...
