I agree with you 100% Laurie. If and when I do it I will start in San Vincente. While the albergue in Comillias is one of my favourites I think that the route to Potes is long enough especially as I intend to do it in 2 days. Thanks again Paul- polsmith63

Temporary closure of the CSJ refuge at Miraz
Started walking from Gijon on 06 April, torrential rain for the first 3 days. Having said that it was still a lot warmer than Ireland was at the same time. I walked from St Jean Pied De Port to Burgous last July on the French Route with my wife, then returned in August and walked from Irun to Ribedesalla on the Northern route in August on my own. Myself & two friends intend to walk from Gijon to Santiago around the Easter holidays next year.
