Appreciated the clips showing your experiences . Setting off from Seville next Wednesday morning (23rd August) and looking forward to seeing some of these places first hand! Hopefully I will have some lesser wet days along the way. Many thanks.
All the best to you all. Flying into Seville next week 22nd August. Santiago bound on the 23rd! Might meet up with some of you along the way.

Richard,
That was a tough first day! Were all the albergues open when you got to your stage end? BTW what time did sun rise? Sorry for all the questions!
Hi Richard,
Thanks for the info.I have the same game plan in mind. Early starts and carrying three to four litres of water on the longer stages. I have silver umbrella to provide some shade. I'm hoping the temperature will drop a few degrees by the time I start! how did your third day go to...
Hope all goes well for you Pacific. I will be taking great care myself in managing the heat for first few weeks. One never knows but we may meet somewhere along the road!

Mike,
Thanks for reply. I would probably say that it is unlikely I will reach Ourense as early as the 18th September considering the heat at that time. However, one never knows! Will keep an eye out for you.
Buen Camino
Thanks SY. I know it will be hot probably for first few weeks. I'm packing very light (6.5 kg) and aiming to have 3litres of water on board for the longer stages where there are no opportunities to refill.
