How many days? Is May too hot?
I did the Via de Plata last year in May and yes it can get pretty hot, but it's still bareable. There were 3-4 days where we left very early (4-5am) because we knew it was going to be very hot and with little shade, but most of the time the temperature was a comfortable 28-30c. I only had 1 day...- Wannes

Advice please - Via De La Plata
I don't have much to add to bjorgts comments, but to reassure you I can tell you that I did the Via De La Plata this may and I always had a bed in a refugio. Never took a hotel or camping or whatever. The longest I think I walked in a day between refugio's is 38km. But by the time you reach...- Wannes

Hello all, I've just found this forum while browsing the net for Camino info. This looks like a nice place to ask some questions :) I've already done part of the Camino Francais (from Pied de Port to Burgos), but that was 10 years ago and with 3 good friends...and we were 16 at the time...- Wannes
