It gets lost in the translation! For me I fly out of US on Tuesday and arrive in Madrid on Wednesday--the sentence on the website says 2 days before coming to Spain so do they mean in this example Monday is 2 days before Wednesday or 2 days before I leave the US which would be Sunday!! o_O
Not...
Wondering about the 72 hour part you wrote--what I read says in the last 2 days before your arrival in Spain.
At first I thought the arrival day may be one of these "last 2 days." But I take it, then, that the day of arrival is not Day 2, and that we may fill out the form one day (Day 2) or two...
I plan to take a couple of tests with me next month--I was hoping they would act as a talisman to ward off any infection, but your experience doesn't bode well!
You started me thinking about some of the stories I am hearing about redirected flights, and now I wonder if I prepared for landing in one country and the airplane wound up in another country how they handle the absence of proper paperwork for the unexpected landing somewhere--but maybe by the...
Thank you, kirkie, for mentioning the name Juliana. I've always heard her referred to as Julian of Norwich or the Lady Julian, and you prompted me to look up a reference, where I indeed found that she occasionally is called Juliana!
Learn something every day!
BTW, travellers, a trip to Norwich...
Thanks. I have been checking and there are a number of places as you mention stating on the websites they are open but are not. I am one of those Luddites who does not have a phone so calling ahead won't work for me.
I will be interested to hear what albergues are opened from Santiago to Muxia/Fisterra when you go through the area, since I will be on your tail about then. Many places seem to be closed by the end of October. Your info will be a great help.
I wonder if self tests are accepted. I know of some that come with the opportunity to be observed, and others are ones you do yourself to see results and self isolate if needed.
That it is 2 euro for a test is interesting and I wonder why the labs can charge 50 to 100 or more.
I realize I have not looked up Portugal requirements because I was focusing on UK and Spain.
Wow I am surprised/concerned to hear a particular hotel would not accept US vaccinations. Was this a scam to get your money for tests? I will be going to Lisbon for a few days before I fly home, and realize there is no mention of such requirements. Hmmmmmm.
