I cycled 5 caminos back to back in 2019. I found that as Spain is very cycle friendly that there were lots and lots of cycle repair shops accross the country. I also found that Decathalon stores that have a bike and repair shop very kind and helpful. On most occasions they fitted new parts for...
I rode up the road. The path is so narrow and rutted i didnt think it fair on walkers to be in their space...actually most if that camino i took the road.
Ive waled several and ridden 3. The difference us when u ride and pass thru several segments at a time u do not connect with the people compared to walking where u make many friends. I do prefer the walking experience.
Im walking at present and as a cyclist im watching lay of the land . So far u could ride all way to Villa Franca no problem on a road/ mountain syrle bike. Goid luck
I cycled both caminos in 2019. Just followed arrows(both were done backwards) and never had problem getting a bed in albergues and it was June/ august althou August is Spanish hols and very busy.
