Quick update on my previous post - the Archie arch jandal is not cutting the mustard ---- since found out that Birkenstock in Australia have a lightweight jandal 167 gms (same mould as the cork traditional jandal ) EVA style they fit like a glove - not for lots of walking but good for recovery...- Bales

I am booked to start Del Norte 1st Sept flying out from Melbourne I have had a chat with my Osteopath as I also have foot dramas - I was going to drag my Birkenstock jandles(sorry Kiwi talk) plus rubber jandals for the shower - but Birkenstocks are too chunky for my pack so he put me onto...- Bales
