    Space Blanket: Noise?

In the Blue Mountains west of Sydney, a walker in our party climbing Little Dingo ridge a few years ago had a heart attack and unfortunately died. My foil space blanket served as a shroud until we could get him to a helicopter. A reluctant memory adding to possible uses.

    Space Blanket: Noise?

I had one, unused for years all over. When I finally had reason to use it, it had degenerated onto a set of rectangles and was useless.

    Poncho recommendations please!

For our 2013 Camino we had Sea to Summit Poncho/Tarps. Great, and waterproof except that as I appear to fidget as I walk, the poncho tended to face sideways and the press studs kept popping, meaning that I was forever stopping to adjust and reconnect the press studs. Simcard

We will be walking the Primitivo in September and October this year. Our overall trip is a few days over 30 days. I see that most phone cards with data seem to expire after 30 days. Is anyone aware of a phone/data card for France, UK and Spain that will stay alive for say 38 days? I can get an...

If you type "Oziexplorer", into the forum search bar (top right) you will be shown my posts on this android app, plus any others. It helps that the Androis S5 I run, can take a 125 Gig SD card, I have the Geograpihically "live" 1:50,000 maps for Primitivo, Finisterre and all my Australian...

Where to buy Shell for backpack

I visited our local fish shop and asked for a scallop shell. Freely given - drill a free of holes, attach a lanyard, paint if you want

    Pilgrim scallop shell

My local fish shop have me three for nothing when we walked the Camino De Levante. Drill a couple of holes, fit a lanyard and away you go. I painted a cross of St James in red on them.
