    Should I bring my own Mercado bag?

    It can be useful. I had a nice one from Decathalon that took less space than a standard plastic shopping bag.

    Definitely. They stay drier when needed and also breathe. I wore gortex mid-rise boots until late June.

    I have an oversized microfibre towel I got at a REÍ type store. It dries me well and dries itself quickly. Because it is a nice size it feels like a comfort item and weighs very little.

    I use a smaller bottle in a front pocket for easy access. Often just a juice bottle purchased along the way and reused until I get another.

    Sleeping bag issues

    I have been on the Camino since May 13. No sleeping bag. Just a liner. Not a problem at all. So many people in a room it gets warm in the night.

    Hold down the home button and the power button together for at least 5 seconds. This resets the phone.
