    I'm walking on 23 May, My backpack weights 8kg. I want to get the weight down a little as I'm walking the whole the whole route. I have a Poncho and a fleece do I need my light-weight Goretex jacket as well.

    I am starting my Camino in San Jean's on 23rd May will my 1,000 mile socks make my feet over heat. I broke my ankle a few years back and when I walk I like the the support the 1,000 mile socks give your tendons, but don't want to over do it in the summer.

    I am starting my Camino in late May, will a fleece alone be enough or should I take my lightweight Gore Tex waterproof as well because i'm sure it will be cold some morning especially where the path is at high attitude in the mornings.
