    38 Litre or 48 Litre backpack?

    8 liter with molle attatchment is my gold standard pack. Have not got this yet but am getying closet every day. If you get a big pack you tend to take allot of extra unnecrssary items. The camino is not an expedition.

    Get a salomon pack and a 100percent silk liner. You do not mention your height. The fit is important, straps that bite are terrible.

    Cook em, select medical wash on a quality front loader and it will be sterilized at 90 degrees. Then just put it in the dryer. A couple of tennis balls can help fluff it up. I never had to do that.

    Wearing a Kilt on the Camino

    Kilt much better than commando plus shorts. The shorts can still get a skidder due to the cut and shape - a kilt cannot it is immune to skidders. Just wait untill you get a shower hose nozzle all sorted. Kilts are the best long treking outfit, unstoppable with the addition of snake gaiters.
