Should I bring my own Mercado bag?
Not sure if it's on everyone's packing lists but I loved have a smaller bag. Similar to previous comment..I used it for grocery shopping and to hold food and also sometimes walking around in the evenings to carry my Brierley book or my sunglasses or whatever. Is Zpacks Vertice rain jacket worth the investment for ultralight hikers?
I have the Zpacks rain pants. Not cheap but they work great and couldn't be lighter. I love they have them in different lengths.- PeteAJ

Mini video camera to record my walk - thoughts?
I haven’t used a DJI Osmo Action or the 360 GoPro, but matching a camera to an app for uploading could yes be a very slow process. Hours. If I brought my camera I think I’d bring a usb power cord and a handful of sd cards and review the footage on a laptop w/a mini sd USB adapter back at home. I...- PeteAJ

I saw someone using an Osmo just yesterday! I think you’ve already gotten more technical advice but this is a GoPro9. I have a chest harness and a bike mount but just holding it in my hand here. patagonia nine trails shorts
I wore a pair of Patagonia Quandary shorts on my first camino and I wound up trading them in for a credit towards another pair of Quandary shorts...different color, shorter 8" hem. They suit me great so far hiking in Southern California.- PeteAJ
