I was quite happy with my Salewa boots on my first Camino, bot a single blister. On the second one from Lisbon it was even better with Salmon shoes GTX X4, I'll be wearing them on my future Camino's as well
I used a Dropbox app to backup my photos each time I found WiFi as well as to share images automatically with folks back home.
I warmly recommended writing a blog... I wanted to keep track of Camino experience and discovered I had a lot of fun writing it
I've used Scrubba on Camino Frances last year and found it great, definitely part of my gear for all future Caminos
For me it was quicker and more thorough laundry than hand washing.

This worked for me... Just attach pole straps to your wrists and just drag them, don't grab the handles, while letting your hands move in a natural rhythm while walking... After a while grab the pole handles
... I did saw a great video for this but I'll need to dig it up
Ferrino Trekker worked for me, and I warmly recommend it. I got mine at SJPDP,
but I am not sure Ferrino brand is available in Spain, based on their distributor list
Last April I ditched rain pants at Roncesvalles donation box and next time I'll leave home an electric coil, cup, and extra wool shirt as well as sleeping mat (should have heeded forum consensus on that one)
