    Sexism in outdoor clothing

Interestingly, I have quite the opposite view. I do not like to wear bright colors, so I am constantly frustrated by the pinks and blues of women's outdoor clothing and gear. I prefer black, dark gray, olive, and taupe!

    Over Organized Woman's Packing List!

It seems that there is quite a bit of duplication. For example, I am a lip balm junkie and plan to take 2 of them which I think is one more than I need, but it looks like you have 5? I also enjoy journaling and plan to bring one. However, it looks like you are planning to bring 2? I'd also...

    Sports bra recommendations?

I am still in the pre-Camino stage, but for hiking, bicycling, and travel I use Patagonia's "Barely There" bra (and panties). It is very light weight and dries very quickly. Although it is very thin, it offers good support, and it hand-washes very easily.

Croc shower sandals and other ways to cut weight

First of all, 3 kg! Wow! Even a light back weighs almost 3 kg! I am aiming for 7 kg myself. First of all because it is almost 10% of the weight that I hope to be when I begin the Camino (yes, I plan to lose some as I've picked up some excess these past few years and I don't want to haul it with...

What Makes the Ideal, Superlight Mobile Kitchen?

Disclaimer: I have not yet walked the Camino. However, that said, I can give my 2 cents on 3 items. First, if you have a sharp knife, you shouldn't need a vegetable peeler. Second, a cutting board is not essential, but helpful. They make small roll-up ones that are lightweight. Third, for...

    Sleeping time: what to wear?

I will preface this by saying that I have not yet walked the Camino. I have, however, gone hiking in Washington State. When I am hiking or traveling, I generally tend toward two sleep options, one for warm weather and one for cold weather. For warm weather, I prefer a tank top and men's boxer...

    Tips

I would be interested in knowing what types of stretches aided with plantar fasciitis. I have developed this over the past year and it remains painful to walk in normal life, some days more than others. I currently walk about 3 miles a day with a packpack weighing more than I plan to walk the...
