    Injinji Wool Liners Only?

They'll wear out. I use Injinji coolmax liners with good quality ankle socks over them when wearing trail runners. No blisters and the outer socks take the wear.

Any suggestions for a technical shirt with the performance of Merino but without the drawbacks?

I swear by my Aldi wool T shirt bought for about 30 AUD. It saw 4 caminos and a quite a few shower stomp washes and was still going strong until it fell off my pack somewhere between Puenta del Reina and Los Arcos 16 October. Hopefully someone is using it.

    Did I Break My Z-poles?

I bought them and they lasted two thirds of the northern Camino. I work poles hard and I don't think Z poles are up to it.

    Brands of clothing (merino wool)

Aldi is my favourite too. Icebreaker is too fragile for the average camino washing options.

Where to buy injinji merino liner toe socks in Porto, Manchester or London?

You would want to buy them early and try them on. Toe socks under outer socks may cramp the toespace in your shoes.

How do you secure your backpack from theft as checked luggage.

Stainless steel wire looped each end and a padlock. Also a bag liner. I've never had any theft problems. After all what is a dishonest baggage handler going to go for...expensive looking luggage or some backpackers pack?

Corkscrew and collapsible silicone cup (Quelle horer?)

    "Toe Socks"

I use Ingingi toesock liners with a good quality ankle sock over the top. Works like a charm. No blisters in 7 caminos.

Buying women's hiking pants in Australia

Crane is an Aldi brand and my Cranes (zip off pants) shorts outlasted my much more expensive Columbia pants.

    Tano, nok cream, sweaty feet...

I assume you mean a deodorant stick?. If the stick is meant to glide freely over ones skin then what's the difference between a cheap roll on deodorant stick and outrageously priced (in oz) Bodyglide and Compeed. Good idea.

A gentleman's undercarriage question regarding chafing......

I'm a fan of vaseline but wouldn't it prevent the region we are discussing from sweating properly? On another note, if anyone knows the name in spanish of ointment to treat sweat rash and blisters I'd be very grateful. I bought 3 lots of ointment in Spanish pharmacies using sign language....bit...

A gentleman's undercarriage question regarding chafing......

They usually work well for me but for some reason last caminos they didn't. I had sweat blisters. Very painful.

An Intriguing New (to me) Anti-Blister Sock I Will Be Testing

I use Injeri (sic) toe sock liners with another thinnish sock over the top. Never had blisters on my toes. The liners lasted over 1500kms. About 28 AUD a pair.

    Sleeping bag

From what I am currently seeing in municipals so far walking from Portugal is that blankets are no longer available due to bed bug infestations . Also seeing new mattresses and pillows covered in vinyl. It is hot and sticky to sleep on directly. Vinyl mattresses and pillows may becone the norm...

    Aldi Sleeping Bag

I have one too. It's fine in an Albergue with or without a liner. I got used to the mummy bag configeration. I also treated my liner with pemethrin against bed bugs. I used the same bag on the Sultan's Trail inside a bivvy bag and it was definetly not warm enough for outside sleeping even in...
