Hi all. Am trying to get a sim card for my Nokia 3310. We start the camino ingles in June. I only want it for texts and phone calls no data or contract required or wanted as completely severing all Internet ties whilst away. Any ideas would be most appreciated
I work in a C of E primary school we have quite a few shells, asked if I could have one for my Camino. What is very nice is one of the teacher's is going to get the children to design decorating it. I shall pick my favourite and we will paint it on. Will make it not only unique but also very...
Just remembered one other very useful item I always carry for if my rucksack rubs on the shoulders. I carry a few sanitary towels (ones with wings) they weigh nothing and have been a godsend in past, put the pad over the blister/hotspot and use the wings to stick it down. Have used them for this...
I have used British army desert coolmax socks for hot weather in my boots and they have never given me any problems. They do exactly what they say on the tin so to speak, easy to wash and dry quickly they also have a silver based antimicrobial finish with helps to protect ones feet. These work...

Oh and I go on camino ingles July 24th
And good luck to you Chris

4, x2 ultra...
It isn't ridiculous at all. You ain't alone worrying about it. I don't go for another three months and I'm exactly the same. To the point I very nearly paid to have my bag in hold.
I have a solar charger as back up xymmot. Agree with you trecile it's a shame it can't use power from walking. I posted it just for a little fun am sure some people will no doubt buy it but at £100 it's a bit pricey for me.
Whilst having my early morning cuppa I have seen this to charge your mobile phone thought it was brilliant ideal on the camino if really stuck. https://www.powertraveller.com/en/shop/portable-chargers/outdoor-adventure/crankmonkey-red/
I have a bar of green soap I picked up from the states. Think it was called backwoods or woodsman soap ( might not be called that at all) It's great used it for everything from normal washing and shaving to cleaning clothes etc etc. Came with a handy bag to pop it in to once finished. Just wish...
