Agree with most of the comments. I use a German boot called Meindl. they are a bit expensive but they really do give you a lot of km before they need replacing. I did 2 camino in my first pair which I now use for gardening ! my new pair didnt need breaking in as I make sure I get the sizing...
Hi, Ive done 3 Caminos and used my Osprey Talon 33 every time. pack light, only take what you need (really need) and you'll be fine. If you take one too big you'll just fill it up and then have to carry it :)

Hi elatkd1. I have weak ankles after playing football all my life so I use menial boots as they offer lots of protection especially from rolling my ankle.

Hey @believer12345. Ive done 3 Caminos and always wear boots rather than shoes to protect my ankles and wear a boot a size bigger. I have always used a German brand called menial. absolute class.. but its about what's comfy for you. have a rad of my blog from my Caminos. you may like it
