    I’m an amateur light packer. Only doing Tui to Santiago and kept mine to 3.5 kg. Love this list. Jealous of the backpack weight. And the rain jacket.

    Thanks for this. Best information I’ve seen about bed bugs. My daughter brought them back to her flat in her suitcase from a holiday. I’ve read loads about them but this is the most useful. Shame and anxiety about sleeping! Absolutely.

    This is excellent. I walk a lot but am not keen on carrying. My compromise given that I’m Tui to Santiago is to carry less. I’ve found that after the first mile I hardly notice my pack. And yes this forum has been helpful re backpacks and shoes.
