The Primitivo is indeed less crowded and more difficult. If you like the social aspect of the Camino it's not the one. If you enjoy solitude it is the one. At 300+ Kms 14 days @ 20Kms a day says you might need a couple of extra days. I believe it is wise to always have a few extra days. Buen Camino!
I did it in 2020 and was stopped in Lugo by Covid in Italy. Planning to redo next year starting in March I expect the weather to be a challenge and some Albergues to be closed. I doubt the Hospitales route will be good for either of us. Usually the Samblismo Albergue opens mid April. Buen Camino
You will love the Primitivo and will finish on the Frances. It's a great time to be there and on my list to return and finish my Camino Primitivo which was cut shot by The Covid pandemic. I was there in April of 2020 but have chosen October for my return. Buen Camino!
The Primitivo is beautiful and you have set out a reasonable schedule with several challenging days.
As along as you are prepared to "adapt" you should be fine. You might check out a fellow Pa Pilgrim for

I'm undeterred and will begin on Oct 1st. I was forced off in early March of 20 by the covid. At 77 I won't be denied. There's always rain and sometimes a lot of rain.
