@David Tallan Thank you for a great write up! It was lovely to walk the primitivo through your words less than a week after I walked it. From the paella at Samblismo to the pineapple cake at A Reigada to the climb to Fonsagrada..rekindled recent memories. Gracias!
I got back from the Primitivo last week. Fantastic route, probably a little tougher than other caminos the first few days, but amazing vistas and great company. Not too crowded and the weather was fabulous. Thanks all for your support and help.
I’m in Grandes de Salime today @David Tallan - I took @wanderlustesq ’s excellent advice and stayed in Paladin on Day 1, then Cornellana, then La Espina.
I was planning to take my poncho..easier to get on/ off than rain jacket/pants in my experience. I wasn’t planning on booking ahead. but i’d love to hear others’ experiences

Also I tend to drink a ton of...
I'm planning to start from Oviedo on June 30th. Will be doing shorter stages the first couple of days, so I fully expect to run into you by your Day 3 :) Hope our paths cross @Francesinhus and @David Tallan
