The best information is on www.rayyrosa.com They are Camino officianados and have an albergue at Mazanares del Real .They will give you all the up to date info as know path well . Not that I know of. Did last yr in Early May and as someone said it was sometimes hard just to find where a room/ small house mostly was Some places no tiendas etc , loved it as so quiet and some really unexpected beautiful buildings , walls , towns .- samba

hello jill ,am starting too on 23 ,with my daughter .But will start from further out ,plaza de Castilla ? Am hoping to get to the mass on the Wed night and get credentials so may see you there ,or else am sure along the way for a vino or 2 Hope Im visible !!(being older ) we are going to stay...- samba

hello jill Myself and daughter plan to start from Madrid ,but from near Albergue Petrus on the first day and walking to Tres Cantos .Need to cut down the km as daughter has not walked before .So we will probably catch up ,find you along way and enjoy some tapas etc We get to Madrid on 20 march...- samba
