LePuy help, please!
I went to LePuy via Lyon, which was pretty straightforward (train to St. Etienne, and train to LePuy), so no help there. The stretch you are talking about is indeed strenuous, but nothing worse then the Norte/Primitivo. Time tends to put a rosy glow on things, but I do think they are pretty...- JAL

Two weeks
I have walked the LePuy route and the Norte and if I was to choose between the two for a two-week walk I would also recommend starting in LePuy. It is a fabulous walk and you will be getting the best half of LePuy to SJPDP, in my opinion.- JAL

I have also walked both routes, but not in one go. I walked the Frances first, and the LePuy route the following year. The main thing I would say is be prepared for a *major* culture shock after St. Jean. LePuy is kind of "we happy few" and the Frances is…not. I loved both but they are very very...- JAL

How to end, walking the LePuy Camino?
For sure walk from St. Jean to Roncesvalles if you can. The experience of being a weather-beaten pilgrim at the end of your trip out on the trail with a bunch of first-timers will be cool, and that stage is just stunning.
