In addition to he above there is also scaffolding above the altar but the altar is in full view. 8 December mass seemed much busier than it was for the Feast of Christ the King.- EL01

Botafumeiro 8 December
Hi there. I spoke with staff at the cathedral who advised that the Botafumeiro would be used at 12 mass tomorrow (8 December). On the last feast day I think it was around 15 minutes before the mass time and a few pilgrims missed it because they arrived around 12 so probably best to arrive early...- EL01

Botafumeiro burner
I spoke with security guards at cathedral who advised me that the botafumeioro would swing at 12 mass tomorrow 26 November which I believe is the feast of Christ the King. No guarantees but I thought I would share here. Buen Camino everyone :-)- EL01
