2016 a holy year?

2018
I heard the pope has declared 2016 to be a holy year. Will this mean a big increase in number of walkers on the Camino?

The one from Galicia (the round) and the one from Castilla & Leon. Individually numbered and made by the same people that make the ones you see on your walk.
Transport luggage-passengers.
From airports to SJPP
Luggage from SJPP to Roncevalles
Ideal pocket guides for during and after your Camino. Each weighs just 40g (1.4 oz).
The pope has declared a Holy Year of Mercy which ends on November 8, 2016. The "official" place of pilgrimage is Rome. The Holy doors in the four Roman Basilicas have been opened for the pilgrims to pass through (they're usually only opened in the ordinary Holy Years). I imagine it wont affect the Camino much. http://cathnews.co.nz/2015/03/17/pope-francis-announces-jubilee-year-of-mercy/
