Hello, im laurence. im english, and live in seville as an english teacher. I i have read a little about the camino and it really appeals to me. Unfortunately due to my job, i can only get 7 days off between the 31st of march and the 8th of april (yep semana santa) and although have spent some time on the net searching, looking at routes and maps and so on, i cant find advice for the best place to start - given ive only got 7 days.

which route would allow me to see the most, and practically possible? (ill probably have to fly into sabtiago.

thanks,

any suggestions would be most appreciated

One option would be to start from seville-the via de la plata and walk for a week then return home. In this way you wouldn't waste time getting to the Camino Frances. You could also walk the whole distance, if you so wished, over a number of years. In a week you would get to Zafra.

only seven days

Laurence.

i you want to walk a max. then start in Sevilla.
If you want to taste the Camino ( cuidado ! el Camino es una droga.)
make it to Sarria and walk to SdC.
Will curl your hair. So will the rain. After all it IS Galicia. But still fun.
