A Newbie: Starting or about May 8th from SJPP

Hello fellow pilgrims:

I am reaching out to anyone out there who will be in SJPP on or about May 8th. I hope to complete my journey to Santiago within 40 days (God willing that my knees and back hold up). I have been preparing by walking daily, breaking in my new boots, testing the appropriate weigh to carry in my backpack, and relearning Spanish. I would welcome any feedback from fellow pilgrims. If you are in SJPP at the same time perhaps we can meet and share a meal. John from northern NJ in the U.S.

Ideal sleeping bag liner whether we want to add a thermal plus to our bag, or if we want to use it alone to sleep in shelters or hostels. Thanks to its mummy shape, it adapts perfectly to our body.

Hey John, leaving StJean on the 5th, maybe we'll pass each other somewhere on this journey!
