Hola,
I managed to get three days done (Pamplona) a couple of weeks ago. Already planning to go back for more as time allows. Can anyone tell me where along the route I would find airports? I'd prefer to fly open jawed rather than rely on trains and busses.
Gracias,
Tio

Airports are a bit of a tricky subject is Spain at the moment. A number of new airports were built recently during the construction boom, some of which never attracted many (if any!) passenger flights. Some are used almost exclusively by cargo/courier flights, and others just have domestic and charter flights.

It depends where youre flying from, to some extent. Valladolid Airport, for example has a few international fights from Ryanair (incl. London Stansted) and potentially serves the Burgos-Leon section of the Frances quite well. Depending on dates and times that could work for you. However, once beyond the French border the vast majority of people I met were flying from Bilbao, Madrid, or Santiago, and planning their walk to end somewhere that had good rail/bus links to one of these places.
