Albergue Villares de Orbigo

Hola Ivar. My name is Belén. Iam the hospitalera in Albergue Villares de Órbigo. I would like to ask you if we could put updates to our albergue in the Forum. We have made once but we realized maybe it was no appropiate to post "publicity". Is there a place in the forum to do it?

Thanks
Belén Rodríguez

Please post simple straightforward information about your albergue that will be useful to pilgrims. Do not use this thread as a form of advertising and bump it unnecessarily.

I have moved the thread to the "Camino Frances albergues, pensions and hostals" section of the forum.

Hola Belen! We loved your Albergue. It's now in my "top 10"! We stayed with you last September and hope to stay with you again this October. It was well worth the extra few Kms continuing on after Hospital de Orbigo! Anne (and Adrian)

Ideal sleeping bag liner whether we want to add a thermal plus to our bag, or if we want to use it alone to sleep in shelters or hostels. Thanks to its mummy shape, it adapts perfectly to our body.

I, too, give it five stars *****, for general overall pleasure. Hospitaleros are friendly and enthusiastic. The food is good. There is a bar across the street. The renovation is new and up to "code." It is about twenty minutes past Hospital de Orbigo, and shortens the next-day distance to Astorga if you have stopped in Mazarife or Villadangos, and are not going on to Astorga the same day.

Hola amigos
Although the first Idea was to keep the hostel open all year and as we sent this information last year, we want to tell that it will be closed from 15th December to 1st February permanently.

Thank you and ¡Buen Camino!
Belén
