Angels continue to show up around me, showing me "My Camino"

Hi friends, my fellow peregrinos. I wanted to give you and update on how I am doing as I will be forever grateful for your support and encouragement during the ordeal I experienced after starting my Camino Portugues in Lisbon only a couple of weeks ago. To me now the assault seem to have happened years ago when in reality it was only over two weeks. (For those of you who do not know what I am talking about you can search for the post "I am the peregrina who was assaulted close to Sacavem on the Camino Portugues")

So, on a great note I want to share with you this link to my Facebook page as I know you will be very surprised and happy for me. And the best part is that one of our forum members named Michael had all to do with this.

I kept my eyes and ears sharper and because of you moving forward with the attack, I did not let fear of possible events detract from my journey.

Peter, thanks for those kind words. I am moving forward with life as there is only one to live. I learned that life can change in a minute so we better listen to our inner voice and do what we love

My dear Laurie, hugs and kisses back to you. Will never forget how quickly you responded to my request to make others aware of what happened immediately, in addition to have given me a new friendship with Via Lusitana's staff. I never felt alone during this time

I am the one that God has chosen (with another pilgrim too) to company ana to Santiago. I have been in regular contact with ana since the incident. I hold this honour as high as anything I have been asked to do in my life. To spend time with ana walking on the road has been extremely special. Her postive outlook and caring nature and her forgiveness nature is something that is benefiting me and making me learn and grow as a human being. I am looking after ana the best I can and I think we are going to be able to make it.

I can announce today that me and Ana (TheWorldMyVillage) arrived in Santiago today at 6.15 walking approx 30 km amid scenes of great emotion which the live video link captures. It has been a great honour to walk with ana, her courage, strength, love goes beyond I have seen in anyone. There are not many people that deserve a compostela more than Ana this year. She is so thankful for the postive vibes and messages of support you all have sent to her
