Time of past OR future Camino
Logrono-Burgos summer 2014
Hi!
I'm walking Logrono - Burgos in the end of July. Anyone who could tell if there will be a lot of asphalt walking on this part of the camino?

The focus is on reducing the risk of failure through being well prepared. 2nd ed.
There is asphalt, but also some packed dirt trail. When possible, the path is parallel to roads but off the road.

Welcome to the Forum.

I've done the Camino only once but, from my recollection, I would say 'no' there's not a lot of asphalt on this stretch. There is asphalt along the way but mainly it is packed dirt, as falcon says. There is a long stretch of concrete walkway leaving
Logroño (and entering it too) that seemed to go on forever, which I found very hard on the feet. The walk into Burgos seemed interminable (that's asphalt and concrete!) but, when we got to the river, it was a pleasant two hour walk to the cathedral.

Buen Camino!

Thank you, falcon and Charleen, that was helpful!
