Planning for my first Camino starting in Saint-Jean-Pied-de-Port on August 25 (2015)
My name is Michael.
I am planning to embark on my first Camino Frances end of August 2015.
Preparing for the Camino has made me define my Camino as a symbolic turning point to end bygone things in life and more interesting, hopefully also a meditation over the next step.

Hi Michael

Walking the camino provides a great opportunity to reflect on your life, see things from a distance and to meet new people with whom to get inspiration for what your next steps are.

I bought my current house in a hurry during a messy separation and it is in a very small village where two roads meet, so I was literally and metaphorically "at the crossroads". Walking the camino gave me some great perspectives on what had happened in my past and what changes needed to be made, and subsequently my house is now up for sale as I move on to the next phase. Saint Augustine is reputed to have said "Solvitur Ambulando" - "It is solved by walking", the camino certainly helped me and I hope it does for you too.

€2,-/day will present your project to thousands of visitors each day. All interested in the Camino de Santiago.
Thanks for the welcome guys!
I will be spending three weeks just outside of Barcelona in July in great company, nevertheless I'm really looking forward to the solitary walks and meditations this fall under the blistering sun and pouring rain on the way to Finisterre.

Buen Camino
Literally Good Road
Ime sure it means better in connotation...
I think sometimes, its not what we take with us on the journey..
Its what we leave behind in the blood and dust filling the foot prints we leave from
Here..
Going
There...
Find that center again
Dizzying..truely,when you find yourself spun into another circle
But you have time and space to do so.

I hope you find the peace of the new forged you when you get to Santiago!
