Our favourite bars in santiago old town are:
"Bar Sixto" in Rua do Franco. They have gambas, jamon, and all you love to eat. And the "pulpo a la gallega" is maybe the best in that area.
Bar "El gato negro" in Rua da Raiña has the famous "chocos en su tinta". Which is a kind of grilled (i think) calamares, in a black ink.
For coffee of course "Bar Suso" in Rua Do Villar.
We know these bars since at least 30 years, and the didnŽt change. They are still full of guests, and thats a very good sign. We are going to join them this winter, for shure!
