Barcelona to Pamplona... Vuelling cancelled my flight!

Time of past OR future Camino
Apr & Sep 2013, Apr 2014, 2015, Sep 2022, 2023
Help again please!

Just when I thought I had my journey into SJPP sorted ...(convulted but nevertheless organised) Vuelling have gone and cancelled my flight from Barcelona to Pamplona. ..rescheduling me (without consultation) onto another flight that does not work for me

Firstly, does anyone know if I am entitled to a refund given they have cancelled the flight completely? They have rescheduled me onto another the following evening which would mean I miss my connection into SJPP (meeting friends in Pamplona and sharing a taxi).

Secondly, we leave in 3 weeks and although I know there are trains and buses that run (seemingly more expensive than my original flight), which would you good folk recommend, any ideas on refund from Vuelling and/or getting to Pamplona welcomed!

Thanks in advance, Jo

Guides that will let you complete the journey your way.
I am flying with them after my Camino, to Paris, I have allowed four days before my flight from Paris to Oz departs, not because I want to visit Paris, I just don't trust cheap airlines too miss my flight to Australia would add thousands to my travel costs,

Maybe your travel insurance will cover you for missed connections ?

My bus fare in 2011 was about 50 Euro, the bus depot was next door to the main train station,

I was waiting in a long Q at the train station, it was going to be about 3 hrs before I could get to the sales window I had my number for a place in the Line and went for a walk outside , stumbled across the bus depot, walked in strait to the counter no waiting, bus was almost 1/2 the train fare and leaving in the next hour, it was a great trip through the Spanish countryside

Google EC regulation 261/2004. In short, you're probably entitled to your choice of a refund or a replacement flight, and 250 euros ompensation.

Peronel ... I like your work!!! This is very encouraging, I will pursue this with Vuelling...

ffp13... thanks for the pointers re: bus, I think 4 days in Paris should suffice as an adequate buffer!

Stay tuned and I will keep you informed how they respond to my request for refund.

Thanks guys!!! Jo

Good luck Jo,

I like the other suggestion for refund and compensation, I will keep that in mind for some of the other cheap flights I have booked for my time in Europe

Apologies, I'm wrong. As they've cancelked more than two weeks ahead your choices are rebook or cancel and refund, but no additional compensation.

Vueling has just changed my morning flight to Lyon to an evening arrival in Lyon, meaning I miss my connections to Le Puy.
Has anyone else experienced this and why are they allowed to do this without consultation with the customer? It would be illegal in Australia

Technical backpack for day trips with backpack cover and internal compartment for the hydration bladder. Ideal daypack for excursions where we need a medium capacity backpack. The back with Air Flow System creates large air channels that will keep our back as cool as possible.

€83,-
Nope, apparently not illegal in Australia. Qantas have changed my flight too, meaning I miss my connecting flights from Perth to Singapore, to Dubai then Madrid!

It's a wonder the insurance ompanies don't take them on, I'm assuming any extra expenses are claimable. I now don't trust Vuelling to not alter the later flight and their website is inaccessible due to "network error" for a week now and I'm expected to telephone from Australia which would cost more money tan the flight.

It may be your computer or your browser. The site works fine for me. They currently have flights for 40E from Barcelona to Pamplona on 27th and 29th.
