Hola

I am trying to work out the costs involved in travelling from Biarritz airport to sjpp and then walking to sdc. I am estimating 1000e for the whole journey, i have been advised this should cover all the costs, does anyone have any other opinions regarding the costs.

thankyou and buen camino

The one from Galicia (the round) and the one from Castilla & Leon. Individually numbered and made by the same people that make the ones you see on your walk.
The first edition came out in 2003 and has become the go-to-guide for many pilgrims over the years. It is shipping with a Pilgrim Passport (Credential) from the cathedral in Santiago de Compostela.
If your budget does not include transportation to St.-Jean-Pied-de-Port, it should be sufficient. I found that 30 Euro per day included eating well, an occasional hostal, and too many coffees and soft drinks. A soft drink is twice the price of wine, though I found Aquarius an excellent hydrating drink.

The cost of the bus from Biarritz airport to Bayonne train staition is abour 4e. The train to St. Jean is 8.4e.
You can get a minibus from Biarritz to SJPdP, can't remember what it costs though but reasonable.
