I will be leaving Australia on the 26th May for Barcelona and will start the walk from Roncesvalles on the29th may.
I am hoping to catch the bus from Pamplona to Roncesvalles on the 28th May. I am having trouble booking a ticket on line. Will it be easy to just turn up an get a ticket in the afternoon. I arrive in Pamplona at 1.30pm by train from Barcelona.

Our Atmospheric H30 poncho offers lightness and waterproofness. Easily compressible and made with our Waterproof fabric, its heat-sealed interior seams guarantee its waterproofness. Includes carrying bag.

€60,-
The bus system is great in Spain. Most of the time you do not need to get your ticket in advance. I flew into Pamplona last fall and met a lady on my flight. We shared a taxi to Roncesvalles. The posted rate was 67 euros, but our driver was a really nice man and only charged us 50 euros (25 for each of us). Pilgrims are easy to spot - so look for them on the train and see if you can get another person or a group to share a taxi. Some of the taxis are minivans and can carry several people.
