Buses between Los Arcos and Logrono

2011 Leon to Santiago de Compostella
2019 plan to walk from Pamplona to Logrono
Hi there!

I am doing part of the Camino with two friends in May. We previously did the route from Leon to Santiago de Compostella but are travelling a shorter section this time.

My question is does anyone know if there is a local bus service between Los Arcos, Torres del Rio, Viana and Logrno? My Camino guide says all four are served by buses but I can't find any routes or timetables online.

I need to know in advance as we may be catching a train from Logrono to Bilbao so need to get there early.

Thanks

Down bag (90/10 duvet) of 700 fills with 180 g (6.34 ounces) of filling. Mummy-shaped structure, ideal when you are looking for lightness with great heating performance.

€149,-
Hello Schiehallion

You should begin by looking at www.rome2rio.com where you will see links to the required timetables.

There does appear to be the same gap in service in the middle of the day which we found in 2008 ; it was simpler to walk (briskly) all the way from Los Arcos to Logrono and then catch a bus to Bibao...

Yes, bus rather than train. As usual in Spain, there are 7 buses (most days) as opposed to 3-4 trains.

Buen Camino.

Easy. Now you have the timetable...One year, I ended my walk in Los Arcos and took the bus to Logrono. As others have said it was very easy; I paid when getting on the bus.
It seemed like a much longer journey on the bus than it had felt walking - and the bus was plenty comfortable. It was just the mind-bending part. As In "I actually walked this last year?!"

Yes, there is. I took it last year from Los Arcos to Logroño, with a stop at Viana. Sorry I can’t provide a schedule. Good luck.
