A cold winters evening in Jerusalem and the thoughts turn to Springtime in Galacia. Caldo Gallego! Actually on the fire, bubbling away. But Scruff what about the berza? We make caldo gallego too and also fabada (a la inglés). Beans, a tin of chopped tomato, chorizo and venison sausages plus the garlic, turmeric etc (as in the recipe I bought in Spain - on a postcard)!
