Camino de Madrid.

Hello, I am going to walk the Camino De Madrid, onto the French and then the Winter way to Santiago. I have all my plans in place except need help finding accommodation in Madrid near the Church of Santiago in the Plaza de Santiago. I do not want dormitory, but a hotel with a private room as I will be in Madrid for a few days. Any advise would be appreciated. Thank you.

The church in Madrid is in the center of the city. There are many hotel type properties in the area.

BTW - you can get your credencial stamped after Masses, to the left side of the church, near the sacristy.

I recommend you refer to booking.com to find a property you like. Then consider searching to see if the property has a web site that you can book on.

Compare the prices. Proceed accordingly.

Thanks Tom. I have had a look on Booking.com, but would sooner take a recommendation off a fellow pilgrim. This is my 14th camino walk and I only ever book accommodation for the start and never anything after that, so as to give me the flexibility of my length of walk each day. Only ever had 1 night when I could not get a bed. Thanks again.
