- Camino Frances (2018)
Hoping to inspire myself & others, and in collaboration with veteran camino walker Deborah Schaben, I've created the Camino de Nebraska - various one day pilgrimage walks and speaker presentations.
Upcoming activities:
March 2, 6pm - Walking the Camino de Santiago presentation - Gretna
March 30, 8am - Day Pilgrimage from a trail head near South Bend, across the Platte, and to Holy Family Shrine in Gretna
April 14, 10am - Day Pilgrimage from Carmelite convent to St. Luke's Czech shrine, following in part the Oak Creek Trail - Valpariso to Loma
May 12, 8am - Day Pilgrimage to Our Lady of Fatima shrine in Arapahoe. Temporary albergue available the night before, or camping.
More will be coming. Please let anyone in the central midwest know. I'd love it if more veterans and future camino trekkers came together and we could start a community or chapter in Nebraska.
Event details and updates will be at http://www.facebook.com/CaminodeNebraska
Thanks,
