Just experienced the Camino Finisterre from Santiago to Fisterra after completing the Camino Ingles. I can only say that it's awesome and very much worth doing :) I also fell in love with Fisterra. Beautiful fishing village which I'll never tire from :)

Thought to share with you some photos I took:

Excelling photos! Thanks for sharing.

Hi Joseph, really beautiful photos, you have quite an eye for composition :)
I have a 4-5 days available to walk the camino this April and am contemplating between Camino Finisterre and the Camino Ingles.
Since you've done them both (!) I'd really like to hear which one would you recommend in terms of scenery? and overall?

Thank so much!

Hi Roi,

Very difficult to say which one is best. Totally different experience and I loved them both. My only drawback was that since I was restricted with the number of days I had to take off from work, I had to do the Ingles in only 3 days, so had to cover more kms per day.

In that respect I would recommend you'll do the Finisterre, and spend an extra day in Fisterra. I should do the Camino Finisterre again in May, after walking from Sarria.

If I have to compare between the two, I loved Ingles as it was not populated, and I could walk very much in solitude and peacefulness. It passes many times through forests, which makes it lovely.

But with regards to scenario, I guess Finisterre is more scenery.

Wishing you a beautiful Camino with whatever you choose. Should I be of any help please do not hesitate to ask :)

I thought I had saved this, but can’t find it. Where is a place to stay in Muxia to relax and reflect on the Camino journey?
