Hi guys, i am a single walker starting my camino at St. Jean Pied de Port on the 14th May 2019, hopefully walking over the Route Napoleon and on to Pamplona where i will finish, the reason for this, i did walk this Camino in early April 2017 but due to bad weather the Route Napoleon was closed but hopefully the route will be open when i go this time.
I was wondering if any one else will be starting the Camino France on the 14th May?

Hello @peterjohn1960! Yes, my daughter and I will be starting from St-Jean on May 14th also and just going as far as Pamplona. In September 2017, I walked the Valcarlos route solo, so am looking forward to walking the Napolean route this time. Will probably see you on the way! Buen Camino!

Hi Bodi,
It would be good to meet up on the way, I fly into Biarritz lunch time on the 13th, train to St Jean, staying in St Jean for the evening then setting off early Tuesday morning.
Due to the possible dangers on the route Napoleon I am hoping to walk at least the first day with other walkers for safety reasons.

3rd Edition. More content, training & pack guides avoid common mistakes, bed bugs etc
