Camino Frances June 2009

I must be mad....but I am doing the Camino from ST Jean Pied de Port in early June....solo...(on my own)...any fellow travellers around that time ? :arrow:

You must be mad, youmustbemad, if you think you are going to be alone!!! June is a very popular month and you will have to walk very fast in order to get a bed in the town of your arrival. I am setting out on 27 May having done three previous solo caminos. I can tell you each year it gets harder and harder to get a bed. My advice is to take a sleeping mat just in case. Jrs

Paul, I walked in June last year, and never had any trouble getting a bed along the Camino Frances. All the same, I think we all must be mad to walk it- and one of the best things about walking the Camino is meeting all the other mad ones!

Together with my sister, we are going to start from Sarria on sunday 7th of June 2009, so Im wondering how many of you are there also? =)=)=) It would be nice to say Hello
