My wife and I are in our mid-sixties and have completed several of the CdS. We have, so far, on the Camino Mozarabe, walked from Grenada to Castro del Rio. It would be good to hear from fellow pilgrims who have completed the section onwards to Merida. In particular in respect of distances needed to be completed in a day, the nature of the terrain and the availability of accommodation. We do have Alison's CSJ guide but would welcome observations, etcetera. We are planning to set off from Castro del Rio on/about 20 April. Thanks in anticipation!
