Time of past OR future Camino

I will be starting in Almeria Sept 4 headed to the Via de la Plata. While I do intend on walking alone, I am looking forward to casually meeting other pilgrims. I’d like to report daily along the way but I am unsure where and how to post this.

The one from Galicia (the round) and the one from Castilla & Leon. Individually numbered and made by the same people that make the ones you see on your walk.

Just use this thread or create a fresh new one on the first day. Add the prefix "LIVE from the Camino" and post away as often as you can! If you don't manage to add the "LIVE" prefix, one of the moderators will certainly notice and add it once you have started.

Ronald:
Perhaps this year the weather will be different. I didn’t anticipate the heat experienced during the first handful of days when starting the Mozarabe from Malaga in Sept 2nd, 2016.
Buen Camino!

Very light, comfortable and compressible poncho. Specially designed for protection against water for any activity.

Our Atmospheric H30 poncho offers lightness and waterproofness. Easily compressible and made with our Waterproof fabric, its heat-sealed interior seams guarantee its waterproofness. Includes carrying bag.

Hi Ronald
I will be starting Via del la Plata from Sevilla a little later in Sept. I am happy to walk alone and am looking forward to connecting with others as well. Maybe our paths cross

Buen Camino!
This is my third long Camino and the heat and forest fire smoke concern me. I am packing electrolytes for the first time and getting to know when to take them during my walk. From the hot weather-walking in edmonton Canada, it looks like drinking electrolyte-laden water about 12-15 km into a walk really gives me strength.
I also hope the weather is more amenable to walking in September 2022.

The 2024 Camino guides will be coming out little by little. Here is a collection of the ones that are out so far.

I should be in Merida around Oct 1 which may coincide with your arrival in that area. I will have a black pack back and brightly coloured unicolour Columbia shirts in blue green and red !
