May 8th is my start date, 7am to Roncevalles, lunch in Orisson and then walk slowly down the man.

You will catch me. I am taking my time and not rushing, walking the entire path (st J to Santiago) last may I had a 2 day bike ride through the meseta (30 days total). Slowing down is the only way to go!!!

BTW, I was the only one on the Camino last year called the "PerreGringo" (again the people in texas are laughing)

Starting my third Camino solo on this day. Just made the decision final yesterday and booked my flight. Frances 2012, Portuguese 2017. Frances 2019 God willing.
Arrive St. Jean May 7 and start on Valcarlos May 8th. Joined this forum seven years ago almost to the day! Weird!!
