Camino Norte or Frances?

Time of past OR future Camino
Camino Frances 2018, LePuy 2019, Primitivio 2021
I plan to walk the Camino Norte from Irun starting Sept 16th and am still conflicted as to whether to repeat the Frances route or do the Norte? Do many English-speaking Pilgrims walk this route? I was hoping to have company. Best, David

The 2024 Camino guides will be coming out little by little. Here is a collection of the ones that are out so far.
Im leaving Irun on the 17th... It looks like there is another Canadian pilgrim a couple hours away from me also starting on that day...

Ideal sleeping bag liner whether we want to add a thermal plus to our bag, or if we want to use it alone to sleep in shelters or hostels. Thanks to its mummy shape, it adapts perfectly to our body.

I will be just behind you starting out from Irun on the 19th

Will be watching your posts with interest as you will be a couple of days in front of me. Will be interested in any posts on your accommodation choices. Let’s hope we won’t get too much rain. Good luck with yours

The one from Galicia (the round) and the one from Castilla & Leon. Individually numbered and made by the same people that make the ones you see on your walk.

In the last 8 years everyone I spoke with who did the Norte spoke English . Actually, I think most pilgrims on any of the Caminos in Spain speak some, if not fluent, English. I will start the Norte from Irun probably on 21 SEP. Maybe see you along the Way.

The focus is on reducing the risk of failure through being well prepared. 2nd ed.
