Hi pilgrims,
I´m starting my first Camino ever on September 9th in Porto. I´d like to know if I´ll meet some of you on my way to Santiago. This is my very first time travelling alone, so Im a little bit scared :D Will I feel alone? Will I feel bored? I really don´t know what to expect from spending time just by myself. So I want to share my feelings with an other pilgrim :) Everything is better with a friend :)

Buen Camino!

Ideal sleeping bag liner whether we want to add a thermal plus to our bag, or if we want to use it alone to sleep in shelters or hostels. Thanks to its mummy shape, it adapts perfectly to our body.

€46,-
I won't be there (!!!), but there are a lot of pilgrims at that time, so you will meet some from the Forum and many who are not on the Forum. Bored is the last thing you will be. Being to yourself is a major benefit of a pilgrimage. You will be responsible only for yourself, and it is very liberating. You can share with other pilgrims when you want; be outgoing and approach them. Have fun!:)

Starting ex Porto on the 8th with two ladies, you'll probably catch us at some point.

You won't be alone and will make plenty of friends, plenty of reflection time.

€2,-/day will present your project to thousands of visitors each day. All interested in the Camino de Santiago.
I did Lisbon to about Barcelos in October 2017. Did it alone and never lacked for dinner company. And most walking was solitary, which is to my liking. Both of my achilles got injured and forced me to stop--I just could not find a way to protect from the cobbles--poles, inserts, KT tape wrap; nothing seemed to protect the increasing injury.
Because of the injury and my taking buses, trains, taxis to shorten some of the days, there was no 'camino family' for me. Not a huge problem because I walk primarily for the walking, history, and scenery (even the industrial areas outside big cities)
Porto north is much more traveled with some 15-20k compostela annually each from Porto and Tui, so you will have plenty of company and people to share the experience with.
Fret not and bom caminho--your are headed to an experience of a lifetime.
